Holiday Poster Project!

We had to choose 2 minor holidays and 2 major holidays. We have to find 10 images on google for each holiday. Now we have to pick our top 5 favorite images for each holiday and make them cartoon. I picked Christmas and Halloween for my major holidays. I picked St. Patrick's Day and 4th of July for my minor holidays!

60 Things!

To start this project we had to make a list of 60 things we liked. Then we had to go in www.google.com and find a large image for each  thing. After that we had to go into photoshop and edit all of the pictures. Then we had to go in photobooth and take a picture of ourself and put it on a poster. Then we added all the images to the poster as well. 

Color Shapes!

For this project we had to make different shapes, colors, and sizes. Then we had to go back and create a poster and use contour continuation lines. I thought this project was hard at first but then after using it a little bit I found it much easier.

4 shapes, 3 words!

For this project we had to make shapes certain colors, sizes, and textures. Then we had to think of 3 words that described ourselves.

Gumballs!

For this project we started by making one red circle and making it look realistic. Then we copied gum balls to fit the hole page. After we were done with that we had to go back and change all the colors. Once we finished that we had to rearrange them to look like gum balls in a gumballs machine.

Open House Brochure!

For this project we had to make a poster for our parents inviting them to this years open house. We made two copies, one was a practice one and Mr. Sullivan verbally told us how to create the brochure. The second copy we made was the final copy, we got written directions to make this one!

Photobooth Photos edited by Photoshop!

 

For this assignment we had to take 10 pictures of ourselves and one picture with a black background on photobooth. Then we had to go and pick out our favorite 6 pictures and create a poster using photoshop.   

My First Try!

 

This was our very first try using photoshop. Mr. Sullivan gave us verbal directions. We had to figure out where to find the tools and how to use them. I think I've definitely learned how to use more tools since the first day!
